FTISLAND is a South Korean rock band that debuted in 2007 under FNC Entertainment. The name “FTISLAND” stands for “Five Treasure Island,” symbolizing the band’s five original members. They are known for their melodic rock sound, combining pop, rock, and ballads, which set them apart in the K-pop industry. The band made a significant impact with their debut album Cheerful Sensibility, featuring the hit single “Love Sick.” Over the years, they have gained a loyal fanbase, known as “Primadonna,” and are praised for their emotional ballads and energetic rock performances.

Originally, the band consisted of Lee Hong-gi (vocals), Choi Jong-hoon (former member, leader, and guitarist), Lee Jae-jin (bassist), Choi Min-hwan (drummer), and Oh Won-bin (former member, guitarist). Oh Won-bin left the group in 2009, and Song Seung-hyun joined but later departed in 2019. Currently, FTISLAND operates as a trio with Lee Hong-gi, Lee Jae-jin, and Choi Min-hwan.

The band is also known for their versatility, with members venturing into acting, variety shows, and solo music careers. FTISLAND has maintained a significant presence in both South Korea and Japan, where they have released numerous albums and held successful tours.
